I know what you're probably thinking, tissue oils don't reaallly work right? I mean, I've come across so many brands of tissue oils promising lighter stretch marks, smoother skin and all the lovely stuff. It's actually gotten to the point where I would buy tissue oil without really expecting much and just using it out of habit. Don't get me wrong, they do actually work but when it comes to fully delivering on it's promises, hmmm not so much.

With that being said, this blog post is not actually about my personal results but instead of a friend who I feel results are TOTALLY worth sharing due to her suffering from a really bad case of stretch marks after her pregnancy about 8 years ago.

Anyway, I was lucky enough to receive a few bottles of Justine Tissue Oil from Rubybox which I had to review over the period of 4 weeks. I kept one bottle for myself and the rest I distributed amongst friends and family to try out for themselves. With that being said, this blog post is not actually about my personal results but instead of a friend who I feel results are TOTALLY worth sharing due to her suffering from a really bad case of stretch marks after her pregnancy about 8 years ago. She has tried ALOT of tissue oil products that just didn't seem to work for her and I was so excited to give her a bottle with the hopes of it working.

The packaging also promises results in two weeks in terms of reduced appearance of scars and stretch marks , radiant looking skin and overall improved elasticity. Exciting right!?

The packaging is very cute, elegant and simple. I appreciate the oil being orange for some reason, just gave me "I'm going to get rid of your stretch marks and scars" kind of vibes. The oil itself is really easy to apply, smells really good (kind of like a fresh born baby- is that creepy?- Hah! I know you like the way babies smell!) and does not, I REPEAT, not leave a sticky feeling after application *cheers all around*. It does, however, stain clothing very easily, so I'd recommend using a towel or any cloth (or nothing at all, your choice)to prevent stains from forming all around you when applying.

Now my friend used the product twice a day, as instructed on the actual packaging, and yes I also checked up on her like everyday to make sure she was following the rules. So two weeks passed by and I called up my friend to arrange a meeting for us to check out the progress so far (I actually just went over to her and said we need to take a picture for Rubybox lol) and guess what we saw... Check out the results below.

Okaaaay Justine tissue oil, we see you! not only did it actually make a difference in the appearance of her stretch marks but her skin was looking tighter, softer and Glowy AF! Btw I used the oil on my face too and it transformed me into a glowing goddess and not the oily type. Most importantly it made my skin feel so moisturized that I actually forgot to put on daily moisturizer a couple of time (pahaha don't judge me, I don't do well with routines). The only reason I put on daily moisturizer is because my face gets that 'I'm dry, where the face cream at?' feeling.

Anywaaay we then continued the process thinking not much could possibly change seeing as it already made such a big difference in just two weeks, maybe just maybe the magic was over. BOY were we in for a treat! Check out the final results in the image below.
